Slightly used Crystalyte 400
*EDIT FEB 15 2009 @ 14:28* MOTOR IS SOLD
Wasn't sure if I should have put this here or in the buy/sell forum. I figure there are more enthusiasts here.
Would anyone be interested in the following:
Crystalyte 400 series front hub motor
36-48V 40 amp controller
36V 8Ah NiCad (6kg/13.2lbs) + charger
Thumb throttle
The hub motor is on a 20" rim. I could send the whole wheel or just the hub. I would prefer to keep the rim (needs truing as is).
The battery has been charged but then not used for quite some time (half year). I went through several cycles and now it is quite good at retaining charge. The total number of cycles on the battery is less than 20.
Please forward an offer if you're interested.

I may be interested. I have been shopping around for kits to place on my dads old bike. Could you by chance message/email me with prices for each and or all of them together? The only problem is that I live in Nevada so I am not sure as to shipping costs. Thanks.

I sent a PM.
I really don't know what to ask for the kit.
I'd rather not send it with the 20" rim as I could use the rim. Hope that's OK. Either way is fine really.
The reason I'm looking to sell is that my bicycle is a folding bicycle. I need to take off the front wheel in order to properly fold the bike. Having to deal with the motor in this manner has proven unwieldy. I originally thought I won't want to fold the bike, but have since changed my mind.

Can you check on the motor to see if there is indication of what 400 series it is ?.
In a 20" it's likely a 406 or a 405 but would be good to know.

Hello there.
Sorry for not responding earlier.
The motor is a 406, but I'm already sending it to someone. Just packed it up and logged in to check the address.
Once again, sorry for not saying anything in this thread earlier.
