Question kit versus new bike? is it a safer bet to buy a full new bike??

Hi,

I've already got an existing Avanti Sprint (racer)

Should I consider an electric kit on this existing racer, or is it a safer bet to spend a little more and get a full electric bike package? (i.e. in which case I assume the bike would be made specifically to cater for electrics I guess?)

Thanks
