Panasonic has been making, what are to me, the finest ebikes for a while now.

Is there a way to get the site in English, with USD amounts?

Panasonic doesn't ship the electric bikes to the US, which is a shame.
But they run about 1,200--2,000 USD, minus the shipping and import duties. Maybe one day someone will be able to bring a couple of container loads over.

My Giant Twist (it's an older model) uses a Panasonic drive system and I love it because its motor is inline to the chain (not a hub) which allows the motor to take advantage of my IGH's gears.

The other thing I really like about the Panasonic system is the torque sensor in the pedals. There is no throttle on my bike, the harder you press on the pedals the more the motor will give. That way your pedaling and the motor are always in sync, one never out pacing the other.

The US has a problem with foreign magical propulsion dependence. What pixy dust we can get is all bought up by Disney. All the regular consumer can get is cheap Chinese factory made pixy dust, and half the time that has lead in it.

Hi Sancycles,

Do you still have this bike? I have a few questions I like to ask you about its battery, etc.

Thanks,
