New Trek 7200 plus owner
Hello from Huntington, Long Island, NY.
I just bought a Trek 7200 plus pedalic and took it for a maiden ride today (to the post office). It was alittle chilly out and my ears were cold but the ride was a pleasure. The motor assisted very gently to get me over all the hills I could barely manage with my Trek hybrid bikelast year. This is a 24 speed bike with 5 levels of motor support from 0 to 200 %. It's my only means of transportation here since I don't drive.
I owned an electric scooter in my old home in Winnipeg Canada. I loved it but it would not make the hills around here so I sold it when I moved. There was also the issue of the legality of elecric scooters in New York State.

There was a thread about rear wheel spoke problems in the past several months so keep you eye on it. Be sure the wheel is trued and all the spokes are tensioned the same amount. Spin the wheel and hold something against the spokes to make them vibrate.
I have also been looking at this bicycle. Hope the spoke problems have been solved.

Congratulation on escaping capital city of Winter - Winnipeg.
I am in Calgary and sick of winter when it going to end up.
Bionx system has many versions , is it 500W low torque on your bike?

I am not especially sensitive to noise, but I haven't heard any. I think it's silent. The interesting thing to me is that the power boost is very gentle. It feels like a helping hand. I still have to work at the pedal. I'm just able to get easily over hills and wind conditions that really wore me down with a conventional bike.
