Bottle battery question

A question for those of you that actually have a bottle battery on your bike: I have a 36v battery from BMS Battery but it came with no directions. At the base of the battery is a multi-segmented light which I presume is some sort of charge indicator. Do the red and green lights show how much charge is left? How accurate is it?
