New Schwinn Tailwind

I found a new Schwinn Tailwind for sale for $900. I am wondering about the bike and why it was marketed by Schwinn for such a short time? Even though it is new the battery is still around 3 years old. Would that make the battery less than stellar? Also with a small motor would it be effective in the Denver area rather hilly? Would love to hear from those that own one how they like it or dislike it and why?

Thanks

Do a google search on the Tailwind and you'll find out more about your bike. Seems a little heavy and slow to be much fun.
