Focus bike with Panasonic drive
I bought one of these about a year ago and have neglected to post anything about.
https://store.kalkhoffusa.com/Focus-J...fo11jarspd.htm
My wife and daughter use it most of the time, but I have put my share of miles on it.
The bike works really great with the exception of the chain jumping a few times. It came with a nice chain guard but I had to take it off so we can get the chain back on.
Other than that it's been perfect and will probably turn over 3,000 miles on it's next trip out. These pics where taken a about two weeks ago.
This pack is really nice too.

Have you had opportunity to climb hills with the Focus? I have a 25-30% grade on my commute, and a strong electric assist bike would be a godsend. (I'm also considering the Kalkhoff Pro Connect.) Thanks!

This one is 300 watts, my other bike is 1000 watts so there is a big difference between the two. It's hard to answer your question. I have already been climbing big hills with the Focus and turned the boost off and come to a pretty abrupt halt.

We have over 4500 miles on this one. It still works great with the exception of the chain jumping from time to time. If it wasn't for this on going issue it would be perfect.
