    Aldi [Europe] Now Flogging e-Bikes

I am not sure if Aldi is well known in the US as yet but it is an interesting retail concept (a grocery store that sells other items) and does it at a lowest cost possible. Well now Aldi is going into selling e-bikes in some of its European stores ... pick up the weekly shopping and an e-bike

Electricbike.com takes an interesting look at this development.

Well lets hope so, German Engineering at low cost, would be like Bosch having a 99cent sale, can't see the likeness of this..

Aldi is rather like the Walmart of Germany - which is why Walmart was run out of the country. Certainly not as big as a Walmart store, but they have pretty interesting specials.

They buy low cost items with minimal overhead and sell them inexpensively. Such as this bike which is Chinese, not German. more and more, Europe is getting flooded with inexpensive Chinese goods just like the US. You can even buy inexpensive Chinese cars in Europe.
