Garmin 500 - file in History, but wont upload? (noob)
I've gone on my first ride with my new Garmin Edge 500, and the data for that is showing in the History page on the device itself. When i sync to Garmin Connect, though, only the files created when i was first fiddling with the unit, are uploading, and not the real ride data.
Anyone know how i can get the file to upload?
Thanks

How are you syncing it? Plug the USB cable in and let Garmin Express do its thing?
In Garmin Connect, on the left edge of the screen, there's a column of icons. The bottom one sort of looks like a person. If you click that, a flyout panel appears, and the first link is "Switch to Classic Temporarily." Click that. Then you'll find an "upload" button in the top-right corner of the page. Click it, plug in the USB, navigate to the file, and send it up. It isn't normal that you should have to do that but it will get the file onto the server.
