Recording a Video Loop
Loop mode allows you to record video continuously but save only the most recent video footage. You can select the number of minutes of video to save. This enables you to save storage space when you want to capture key moments but do not want to save all footage of an activity. This feature is useful when using the device as a driving recorder.
The saved video loop is split into multiple files of equal length. This allows you to delete unwanted portions of the video easily.
1 SelectMODE>SETUP>VIDEO>Mode>Loop.
2 Select the number of minutes of video to save.
3 Start recording video.
4 When finished, stop recording.
The most recent footage is saved on the memory card, up to the number of minutes selected in step 2.

I still think the Virb is a bargain.
I probably will. The seatpost mount for the Fly6 is utterly useless except on a seatpost and there aren't any other options. So if you use a rack trunk bag as I do, you're SOL.

Also, the seatpost mount that they provide is basically impossible to get off the camera. I'll cover it in my review when I post it, but every time I take it off (twice so far) it takes a couple of minutes and I wind up skinning a knuckle. I don't think it's possible to get it off on the bike, I have to take the rubber bands off and remove the whole mount and everything.

Short review time, there's something to be said for a cam that's designed to work on a bike. The incident mode sounds great; if the cam tilts more than 30 degrees for more than 5 seconds, it kicks into incident mode, where it records for one more hour then shuts off. With the included 8GB card that means it should have at least an hour (probably 2 or 3) before the incident and an hour after. Also if it doesn't move for 15 minutes, it assumes you forgot to turn it off and it shuts itself off.

The light is OK though nothing to write home about. A little better than a Cygolite Hotshot, not as good as the Pulse60 (I do an utterly unfair comparison to the DS500 in my video which was, at first, intended to just be funny but having watched the video, I think it is informative.

Funny how I got both Virb and Fly6 in last 3 weeks... got Fly6 for $120 when I noticed Amazon going down on it... and Virb around $70 when REI was flushing it out. Very happy with both over all. Also have Sony action cam HDR-AS100V I got couple of month ago for trip to Cancun but I prefer Virb on my bike as it is easier to start recording/stopping, and I can control it from my Garmin 800 GPS I had for... years now...

I've had the original contour roam since they came out and like it. I mount it hanging down under the bars, can't hardly see it, most peeps don't even know what it is thinking it's a light.
