New deal on Contour Cameras

I am not in the market for a new action cam. If I was, Contour would not be my first choice, but here is a deal I just got in email on 2 cameras for just a few bucks more than two discontinued Garmin Virb cameras

Two Cameras. Multiple shots. Better Edits.

For just $249.99 (US)/$374.99 (Canada), bundle and save on both the Contour Roam2 and Roam3!

Why two cameras?

· Use a camera (for you or a friend) to film you during your adventure

· Use the other camera to film your point-of-view

· Create more engaging videos by switching between multiple angles
Whether you’re sharing your videos on social media, YouTube, or just want great family videos, it’s easy to sync and switch between multiple camera angles and take your edits to the next level.

Check out the difference two cameras can make in the video below with Contour athletes KC Deane and Niccolo Porcella. Instead of a monotonous, one-shot video, they keep it interesting by switching up the angles.

Canada $374.99 (CAD)

*Add both cameras to your cart to receive the deal!

Not a bad deal on two cameras. It looks like Contour is trying hard to win back some of the market share it lost when they abruptly closed shop a bit ago.

As an FYI, one Virb Basic is $118.99 here at Amazon. I wasn't sure whether you meant that the two Contours together only cost a few bucks more than either of the two discontinued Virb models, or that you can buy these two Contours together for just a few bucks more than two Virbs together.

For just under $200, you can simply buy two Contour Roam2 cameras on Amazon and save $50 vs that deal. Roam2 is a pretty nice camera, and at that price, it is a great deal.
