Bike Rack Clearance Question

I have installed a bike rack that is for an up to 700cc tire on a 29er hardtail and there is exactly 1/2" clearance between the Tire (which is new and properly inflated) and the lowest point on the bottom side of the bike rack.

Is this enough clearance or will I run into problems.

If this is on the wrong section I apologize.

Thanks is advance, I will try to test ride it this weekend.

Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

You are fine as long as you do not put something like a jacket on the rack that can hang down between the rack bars and contact the tire. You likely have more clearance around the rack than you have around your chain stays. seat stays and brake bridge.
