Troubleshooting Speaker on Rear Rack

Hey all!

After seeing (and hearing) how cool it was on RAGBRAI for folks with speakers pumping music, I went out and bought the UE Megaboom (UE MEGABOOM Portable Wireless Speaker on Steroids. | Ultimate Ears), which is loud and waterproof. My hope is to use some kind of rear rack, but I have no idea how to keep it stable.

Has anyone mounted a speaker anywhere on their bike?

The water bottle cage option isn't out of the question, but I would need an adjustable one (https://www.amazon.com/Arundel-Looney.../dp/B00OZZSW7O).

I bought one of the Topeak QR rear racks, but my legs kept hitting the QR. Took it back. Any other rear rack suggestions? Cargo net is a great idea.
