Portable power packs for a camera: which one and how to mount it?

I'm trying to get an evidence camera setup going, and I've discovered that my video camera lasts about an hour before its (900mAh) battery goes kaput. As the camera can record while being powered externally, my thought for a solution is to get one of those portable battery chargers / portable power packs and mount it somewhere on the bike close to the camera.

Anyone have suggestions on:

a) which portable battery packs they've had good luck with (I'm tempted by something super slim and small, like Amazon.com: Anker PowerCore+ mini (3350mAh Premium Aluminum Portable Charger) Lipstick-Sized External Battery Power Bank ), and

b) how I could mount it near the camera (still working on which mount I'll end up with, but I'm leaning to this K-edge one: https://www.amazon.com/K-EDGE-Univers.../dp/B00FF4EDM2)

I noticed that the current generation of Chinese bike battery packs now come with a USB plug.

12000mAh 4x18650 Battery Pack 8 4V Rechargeable for Bicycle Bike Light Torch | eBay

I was thinking they were for charging, but now I think it is a power source (or dual power/charging). 8.4V???? Anyway, it might be worth considering if your device doesn't require a perfectly regulated 5V source.

They seem to last fine for now. I can't verify if they're truly 12000 mAh. The little velcro pack is a little awkward, but it works. I've wrapped my batteries in a plastic bag to keep water out before putting them into the carrying pack.

What camera? I assume not a gopro- because in that case, it's really easy.

I've carried a booster battery and used it for my phone, my Garmin, and my gopro on long days. Now the Gopro has a "battery packpack" and soon the Wahoo ELEMNT will replace the Garmin and phone.

Hm; that's an intriguing option, though I think that may be way more power (and thus bulk) than I need (... but if I get more electronics). Seeing the velcro-hanging mount makes me wonder if I could just velcro a small one right onto the camera mount ...
