Rack mount Cygolite Hotshot

I'd like to use a rack mount for my Hotshot; the mount is the first product shown at Cygolite's website. Product 11-2451RM. Take a look at the spacing between the two outer mounting holes. I inquired as to the distance between those two holes and here's the response I received:

Thank you for contacting Cygolite Customer Service. The distance between the two mounting holes in the rack mount is about 1 inch.

Does anyone out there own one of these mounts as it appears that the spacing is greater than one inch.

The mount has three holes, each about an inch apart. The distance between the far left hole and the far right is about two inches:

it's actually the standard rack mount spacing, 50mm between the outside holes. Some racks only have one hole in the middle. Some racks have 80mm spacing, so you would be out of luck with this one.

In measuring the rack mount on my dutch Azor, the two outer holes match up to the photo shown above, approximately 50mm apart. 8)

2 inches is 50.8mm, so hopefully they didn't make it 2 inch spacing. But I've seen this part match up to a standard rack, so I'm pretty sure they didn't. 0.8mm would be just about enough to make fitting the second bolt really difficult.

Once I receive the rack mount I'll keep you posted.
