Edge 520 - Altitude in route start...

Hello, when I start the GPS, the altitude of my ubication gives me wrong. I'm at 478 meters and the GPS gives me 37 meters, why?.

I haven't touched anything ... I just marked my home as my ubication, nothing more.

What should I do?

Regards.

My guess: delete "home" as a saved location, calibrate the altimeter to the correct elevation, then save "home" as a location again. Garmins have barometeric altimeters which tend to be very accurate but get confused sometimes when the weather changes; they also use saved locations to calibrate the barometer. If you saved "home" while it had the wrong altitude, it will keep going back to that wrong altitude when you start a new ride.
