Does your Hero4 Session get hot when stationary?
Usually the only time my Session camera is recording is when I'm on my bike and I want to record my ride so I'll have something to watch when I'm on the trainer come those sub-zero days in January. LOL!!
Well anyway, earlier today, I needed to record a few things going on inside my house, so I sat the Session on a table in my living room and let it do its thing. Total record time was just under 90 minutes. When I went to stop the recording, I noticed that the camera housing was quite warm to the touch. I have never noticed that when recording from my bike, so I was quite surprised at the warmth of the camera.
Is this normal and just a case of the camera being "air cooled" while my bike is in motion, or do I need to worry about my camera developing issues and/or getting ready to die on me?
Any info / comments / suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Probably normal. My Ion Speed Pro gets pretty warm in summer when I'm not moving, or when it isn't getting air flow. I've tried to reduce wind noise by draping a lens cleaning cloth around the camera barrel -- it gets pretty warm that way, so I'll need to figure out where the mic input is and cover only it with a wind screen.

Mine also gets a bit warmer, not hot though.
So if is just as warm that you can comfortable hold it in your hand, then it is ok.
If it is hotter than that, it is not ok
