or At Least it will be convenient to Push the plug back On That way, which I had to do many Times, with my Brompton-Shimano wheel.

I actually find the Shimano connector design quite intuitive and robust. I like that the connector is captive to the wire and yet easily removed from the hub.

I also have a Sanyo, which has a similar outer cap for the wire wrap-around, but it inserts directly to a non-removable part of the hub. If one wants to remove the wheel, you pry the outer part from the hub and hope it doesn't fall off the wire while it rides on the top of your car on the freeway or whatever. Still, I don't just stab the stranded ends of the cable inside and hope for the best.
