Best place to mount to sensor
So, I just bought a bike computer. Where is the best place to mount the sensor on the wheel? it seems to me that to get the most accurate readings there should be a specific place to mount the sensor. For the record I have a Schwinn 17 function computer......

The sensor doesn't care how high up on the fork it's mounted. All it does is count how many times the magnet passes it. So just mount the sensor anywhere that's convenient to have the magnet swing close by.

I suppose it should catch the magnet easier closer to the hub as that part is moving a bit slower than outside.

Mounting the magnet 180º opposite the valve will help to keep the wheel in balance (for those of us who care about such things

I've tried a couple of computers, before getting my Specialized Speedzone Comp (two for $25.00 on ebay). The magnet is supposed to pass within a couple of MM of the sensor. The further from the hub the magnet goes, the greater the gap between the magnet and sensor.
