GOOD/CHEAP Computer (miles/MPH)?

just want something cheap that keeps track of miles & MPH.

does wal*mart sell something like this?
any suggestions? & how much? any less than $20 bucks?

(lastly, how hard are they to set up? how long does it take? & what do i need to know about my bike to set it up properly?)

Yeah, walmart has a cheap schwinn version. I have had it on my bike for 3 years, of which 2 yrs it was in storage and the battery still works. I think its $10 or so, installation and ect are in package. Tells you your mph, distance, average mph, time ridden and clock. I have put this thing through hell and its stil working fine.

I won two Specialized Speedzone Comp 5.0 computers for $30.00 inc. shipping on ebay. It has a round face, and an analog style speedomoter, which also shows max speed and average speed on the dial. It has several other functions, including an analog clock, digital clock, trip odometer, total odometer, and others, including support for two bikes. The details on them are hard to find on the internet. Setup was easy and I love the look of the computer.

There is no quick release for the computer. This is okay for me, because a while back I borrowed my brother's GF to take to Slickrock. I slipped and fell, and his computer popped off and promptly rolled off a cliff. The second is for him, because I forgot to buy him a new one.

I like Sigma's bottom of the line, should definitely be <$20. I've bought 3, each time their bottom of the line adds more stuff I don't want, but a common denominator is do odo (trip or total) + speedo on one screen

Do these cheap computers usually have some sort of logging program? Eventually I want to get a Garmin 305HR but for the time being I would like something to log my progress as well.
