    Lens with Horizontal Cutoff

I made a couple of those 20watt mr16 based lamps
for some night-time trail riding. While I like them, I noticed
when someone behind me had one, my shadow cast from it
was awful. Other purchased products that I've seen (granted,
only a couple) cast such a small beam that there is no problem.
But the beam is still round and if raised up would be the same
    issue.

My question: every high end auto halogen (don't know about HID)
is designed with a horizontal cutoff. are any bicycle lamps?
    thanks...thehick

According to the Peter White Cycles website, the Busch & Muller ones are.
Every time that wheel turn 'round
Bound to cover just a little more ground

Basically, most lights sold by Peter White (and a few others) are. The Bush & Müller lights (Lumotecs, DLumotec, Ixon) have decent cutoff and the E-6 has a really strong (or tight?) cutoff. Apparently the Inoleds also have cutoff.
