dumb question re dinotte taillight

I can't seem to figure out how to get my new Dinotte taillight (140L with AA) into solid mode. When I press the button it seems to scroll through a variety of different flash modes, none of which is an all-solid mode. Help, please?

Also, I gather that to turn it off one holds down the button--how do you turn it back on, besides unplugging it from the battery pack and plugging it back in? (I'm wondering if there is some second button that I'm just missing. . . )

Thanks for any help!

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

If you haven't tried these yet:

Try holding the button for six seconds to change between flashing and steady modes.

And, try double-pressing to turn it on (like a mouse double-click).

Gleaned from here:

Thanks! Apparently, I wasn't holding it down long enough, and certainly didn't know to do the double-click. Some combination of those seems to get me what I need.

As for a manual, mine (bought from Nashbar) certainly didn't include a manual. I don't really have a problem with companies keeping their costs (and presumably their prices) down by referring customers to the web for instructions/manual, but, in this case, Dinotte offers no manual for the 140L on the web--though apparently the instructions for the other lights are transferable.

The online store page has a quick reference at the bottom of the page for the link to the 140L/200L combined instruction sheet. It goes through all the different tail light functions.

I stand corrected. Sorry, DiNotte! You do have instructions on the web (even if not entirely self-evidently applicable to the taillight).

Also, I should say that the light definitely rocks.
