    fenix mode and outputs

Well I also took the plunge into the world of the Fenix. They (and Thomas distrib) were excellent shippers. I ordered last Thursday and had them yesterday!! When I turn on the light and rotate the bevel I can see a really bright beam(turbo I think) then I see a dimmer light. I can also push the button(lightly no click) and get a really bright strobe. What I can't see is the lower levels of brightness and what is SOS. I played with it in a fairly dark room and i don't see a change. It probably doesn't matter as I will be "turboing" it. Charlie

What model do you have? I have 2 P3D Fenixes (one RB100, one CE). With both of them, when the bezel is fully tightened down that puts you in turbo mode, where you have a choice between turbo solid and strobe. If you turn the bezel to the right (loosen it) a very short distance, you can then access general mode, which will give you low/medium/high/sos.
