which is a better long burn time the pd 2 or pd 3? This is on the high beam or any similar suggestions.Im looking for two hr plus if possible.

With two cells, the P3D should run at least twice as long at the same brightness as the P2D.

According to the fenix website, the L2D has a longer run time.

I would get the p3d and 2 - aw rcr123's batteries if you are going to run on high mode.. here is a runtime comparison of the p2d and p3d..

The p3d is a little brighter and with the rechargeables, you will save some $$
