I've got an order in here in Harrisburg PA, though a friend who is getting them wholesale, and he was quoted guaranteed ship of July (YIKES) He's hoping to get it faster though. Time will tell.

Skeebo - GPS NOW has them in stock as of 2M Pacific Today... I ended up ordering mine from another retailer because GPSNOW was out of them... paid 20 bucks more but got the 705 a few days earlier :-). From what I can tell the shop I listed has the best prices around -- Good luck.

Well, I paid quite a bit less than 500, though I didn't get the speed/cad, I already have it from my 305, so that would be a redundant purchase for me. The Speed Cad can be had seperate for around 50 dollars, and that if added to my purchase price would still put me well under 500, now the question is, how long do I get to wait for saving that cash I'll let you know when it arrives.

Excel is $690 for the one with maps. Performance Bike is showing 'out' until the 11th. I am trying to get a decent price on one with map package. Thanks guys!

The shop I mentioned above sells the 705 w/candence and maps for 599 (they appear to be out now) - MSRP is only $649 as seen on the Garmen Site --- $690 sounds high...

I was quoted a July shipment, but for the price, I can take my chances. That's largely goverened by the fact that I have a 305 that I'm perfectly happy with for now as well, so if I have to wait a bit to save over 100 bucks, I can do that.

I got mine in the mail a few days ago, installed it last night, and took it out for a short ride today. Man, it is NICE! I got the heart monitor and cadence sensor also. I am really glad that I got the whole thing!
Stopped at my LBS over here in Japan and watched the folks there get excited about it. I don't think it is sold over here yet...

Performance has it in stock now, though not the bundle package but with a 10% off coupon and the points, they are the best deal out there. getfeetwet also has the regular version in stock and has the best deal without coupons or club membership (yes, they sold me my 305 when that came out so I will vouch for them. They don't have the bundle in stock though, coming soon.
I'm just waiting for my delivery from performance to show up... Now I have to figure out how to get maps on there without the stock mapping product.

Good luck on the map's - let us know how it goes. The bikesmart deal looks good - I opted for the stand alone map package so when the upgrade comes out I don't have to toss the sd card and then buy either another sd card pre-loaded or the stand alone. Perhaps if they sell lots of the pre-loaded 2GB's they will in the future offer an upgrade path.

Just thought I would ask about your LBS price. Mine wants - get this - $799.00 for the package w/data card... $800.00 can you believe the mark up?! This thing retails at what, $649.00? Geez, no wonder I have a hard time supporting the LBS, I mean I try... What is the price range for you?
