Romisen RC-N3 CREE Q5 LED Flashlight user feedback needed
Someone on this thread suggested the Romisen RC-N3 Cree Q5 flashlight. I am very close to buying a high-powered LED flashlight (a pair, actually) for my bike, and was wondering what users of this flashlight felt about it (brightness, ease of use, durability, etc.). At less than half the price of the Fenix L2D Q5, it is very appealing since I have a tighter budget to work with than I'd like. I also like the option of using CR123A or AA batteries, but I'd probably stick with AA since I can buy a charger that can do both AA and AAA batteries (both sizes I will be using most often)
(Note: I could go with the Fenix flashlights, but then I'd have to sacrifice the Down Low Glow that I want; and I want to Pimp My Fred. )
Thanks.

I bought this light from ShiningBeam:

I was very satisfied with both the service and the product, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I just bought a pair of those exact flashlights. Currently, I'm only using them for about 30 minutes in the morning during my commute. My return trip home is not dark yet.
I don't have anything to compare them to, but from first impressions I can say that I like them. They are bright enough for my needs right now. I have one mounted on my helmet and one mounted on my handlebars right now. In the near future I plan on getting another one for the handlbars.
I think the other thread quoted earlier says they last approximately 2 hours with the rechargeables. I JUST got mine last week so I haven't hit that 2 hour mark yet. Probably tomorrow morning =)
Like you, I didn't want to spend the money on the fenix. For the price, the Rommisens are damn good imo.
