Schwinn Bike Coumputer/Dum Question!

Got me a Schwinn bike coumputer and am not sure where to mount the pickup senser and magent on the wheel and fork. Seems to me, placement would affect the read out and want it in the right place.
Instruction Manual is not clear on this.
Thanks for your help!

Placement doesn't mater since it's only counting revolutions, not distance traveled. You'll have to find out how to tell the computer the size of the wheel so it can convert revolutions into distance traveled and speed.

It will not read over 9,999 miles. Just make it a point to remember how many times it rolls over.

If it is wireless, The sensor that mounts to the fork will need to be placed as close reasonably close to the display unit as possible.
