SquareTrade ripoff or good company?
I've never bought any kind of extended warranty, gets an automatic no. But what do you guys think of squaretrade coverage for an edge 305? $35 bucks for two years of coverage after garmin's ends and accidental damage coverage. No deductible on the accidental damage coverage if the damage occurs during normal use.
So am I a sucker about to be parted from his money or ...?

A refurbished 305 cost about 90$ bought from garmin after your warranty expires.
Is the 55$ difference worth it?
Can you afford the replacement cost gamble?

The accidental damage coverage really intrigues me. If the company actually does what it says the $35 is worth it.

I've seen some posters that had problems with their edge. Enough to make me question their reliability. But the main attraction of the square trade warranty was the Accidental Damage Coverage. I don't know why but the thought of my bike or it's parts being damaged in a crash doesn't really bother me, comes with the territory. But the thought of this expensive ass gadget flying off and getting smashed to bits really bothers me.

I find it hard to believe that any kind of insurance company would replace something that got smashed without a lot of hassle. I vote no.
