    Mounting Cygolite HiFlux200

Went to mount my new HiFlux 200 last night on my handlebars-realised that with their mounting system (see picture here: http://cygolite.com/products/LED/HiFlux200.html) all the cables from my brakes and gears are in the way. There is not enough play in the cables to move them to allow the light to mount properly.

Anyone got any suggestions around this?

Might be overkill, but this should do it --

    http://www.performancebike.com/shop/....cfm?SKU=22874 ViewPoint OS Spacebar

Note that the bar it provides for mounting stuff to is pretty small, so you may need to cut up an old inner tube to make a thicker rubber `gasket' to help it hold on.

I've got pretty much the same light. I've also got a computer, GPS, another light and interrupter brakes. It's damn busy on the top of my bars! But I was able to make it work, without the Spacebar. But I'm tempted to put the Spacebar back on just to give things a little more room.

The OP was not clear on his configuration. If I am understanding him correctly he cannot mount on the handlebar so your suggestion will not work. The ones I recommended mount to the stem, top tube or fork.
