Nashbar wireless computer?

These are on sale and i was thinking about picking one up, but I don't know anything about nor have I ever owned a bike computer. I'm starting to do some light touring and thought it would be nice to keep track of my mileage and ave speed, thanks in advance.

Have one on my wife's ride. Very nice for the money. No complains. I'd buy one again.

We have 2 Nashbar wireless computers on 2 different bikes and both work just fine. Neither looks like that picture, but one is very old-have had to epoxy the mount for it back together after a mtn.bike accident, but the computer still works perfectly. Another is not quite as old, but different than the pic. If the one in the pic works as well as ours have for years, then should be decent.

Seems a bit expensive - for a few bucks more you can get a cateye with cadence and if you dont need cadence you'll ge ta schwinn for much less. Never tried a schwinn but lots of guys here have good things to say about it.

Only thing lacking will be the backlight and scan features [I think the schwinn has the scan]

The cateye RD200 is fantastic and only 35 USD

Edit: Sorry - missed the wireless bit but you could still go thru the Amazon link
