Maybe a stupid question.....

Hello folks,
I've looked at the various P7 threads, and was just wondering is there a U.S. company anywhere that sells any variation of this light? I've googled P7 and all I see is china distributors. So any help would be great!

well, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore all have better electronics and aluminum factories compared to USA, especially for small things like flashlights.

maker of P7 is SSC, which is a korean company called Seoul Semiconductor Inc.

there are some one off limited production P7 lights out there and you can find them on candlepower forums, but even those are not done by a US company.

I got my P7 MTE from DX, and the light is great; a very very very good value and lots of light; even on medium it outshines my MiNewt USB (which I had upgraded to a P4).

I had no issues buying from DX other than the wait for the light to come in, but everything else went smoothly. Give it a shot, you really almost can't go wrong for the price.

Yup, these babies are Korean. I doubt you'll find a US knockoff anywhere.

Yes, my Aurora P7 is well made, shines like a demon and was a very good price.

Took a long time for DX to send me two Fenix lights I ordered last year, but the P7 came in about two weeks.

I do wonder, though, why I can't get these at Lowe's or order them from REI, etc.

$130?

Does it make coffee, fetch the paper and shine my shoes, too?

their drop-ins for maglights were quite popular at one point in time.

If you want to buy a P7 torch, but not directly from China, it might be worth having a look on ebay.
