Rox 9 versus Garmin 305?

Read all the existing posts but theres not a whole load of info on the Rox.

So if I dont want GPS, will the Rox do everything like HR, aelevation gain, gradient etc as well as the 305? Any idea how the softwares compare?

Do both of these take into account body weight for calculating calorie consumption?

There are several Polar and Suuntos that do the same, let you download, etc. and use several variables for determining calorie consumption, such as age, weight, MHR, activity level and their own VO2 max calculation. The new Garmins (405x and 305x) are being marketed as using HR based calorie counters, but we won't know how accurate this is until they are released

Both Polar and Suunto do a better job at altitude both while on the ride and when saved to your desktop compared to Garmin

The Rox 9 is relatively new so that's why there's less info. about it. From the available reviews it looks to be a a good one albeit expensive. It's on my wish list.
