    Jet Lites L.E.D. Zepellin...Anyone reviewed?

Hello everyone. I'm thinking about getting the Jet Lites L.E.D. Zepellin headlight. Has anyone seen a review of this one? Anyone using it?

    Thanks
    Steve

How could you go wrong purchasing a Jet Lite?
What is better than getting your heart rate up and saddle time?

It is rated at 600 lumens and is $250. The run time was very long at 6 hrs. It seems like a nice light and very competitive in price to other well known brands like Cygolite or L&M

I have never used one (or even heard of it before) but you might consider the Magicshine for about $85-$90. Mine has lasted about 3hrs on a full charge. The company rates it at 900 lumens, but check out all the other threads for user reviews and other helpful info.

Personally the Magicshine is all I think I'll ever need. As has been said elsewhere, it doesn't put out the 900 lumens it's rated at, but it's at least a solid 400, which is plenty for most uses, and for the price difference you could buy three of them, put two on the bar and one on the helmet.
Work: the 8 hours that separates bike rides.

Where are you getting the "at least 400lm" figure from?

The jetlites is new so no reviews in the wild yet.
The company has an excellent rep with incandescent lights but LEDs have completely different design issues.

I dunno what the deal is with the front shroud. A good idea for cooling but it looks like it would significantly cut down the spill.
They claim 6.5hrs runtime on high with 600lm output and a 3800 7.2v battery.
Thats driving the LED at around 1A which will be nowhere near 600lm.

At over 400$ once you add a battery and mount you can likely get better elsewhere.
