Garmin Dakota 20 - anyone using one??
I have been using the edge 305 for a couple years now.. Been looking at the 705 but see that the new Garmin Dakota 20 can use both the HR function and speed/cadence sensors.. I like the larger screen of the Dakota series and the usefulness when hiking / travelling is a big plus. anyone seen one in action or do they have the one it replaced the colorado model..
any input appreciated..

I don't have any new input for you, but after looking over all the gps units, I've narrowed it down to the Dakota 20. I wanted something that wasn't just bike-specific, like the 705. I want it for cycling, x-c skiing, snowshoeing, hiking. Everyone sells it for about $350, but I've found it for $279 at Eastern Mountain Sports. I'm thinking of getting one today.

We have a local sporting goods store that has a deal if you spend 300.00 or more, they will give you a 150.00 gift card for later purchases.. They have it at 349.00.. I already have the 2008 topo maps for Garmin so I do not need extra maps.. This model piqued my interest because of the integration of the Heart rate / Cadence function.. I already have 2 garmin chest straps..
