Seen a bell like this?

https://cgi.ebay.com/New-Bicycle-Bike...item20af761bae

I'm hoping someone has used one of these. Maybe you've seen one at a dolla store? Do they ring or ding? Crap or usable? About how large are they?
Thanks much!

Those have been around since almost the time of Moses. They ring. Usable? How do you plan to "use" 120 of them? lol

They'd need to be clamped to something to be operable. Like a dowel or piece of pipe.
Otherwise they'll just go click-click.

So they wont ring if your holding them? Holding which part? What if you hold onto the clamp?

If your hand touches the bell housing, probably not. Holding the clamp would work. Kind of hard to do for delicate, wedding-guest hands. Best to have it on a lever.
Maybe 6" segments chopped from long lengths of 3/4 " pipe. (pex?, copper?) That'd make it economical.

these old school ringers typically have an internal arm with a couple of washers that hit the inside of the bell - making the ringaling sound. the little lever is pushed along the edge of the bell, instead of the single flipper that is in the new styles of bells.
i have one on one of my older bikes, and removed from the handlebar it is just as easy to use without it being attached.
from a user perspective, i think all your guests will easily be able use them without any problems. they will probably just stick their finger into the handlebar mount, and with the free hand, or the thumb flick the lever. your guests will have a ball!
