Trick to removing Cateye Strada from mount?

Hi. Newbie here. I just got the Cateye Strada Wireless bike computer. I was able to get it working but I figured out that some of the settings I originally entered were incorrect, so I wanted to take computer off the mount to adjust them. I cannot get it to budge. I'm following the directions in the instructions and I also looked at a video on YouTube, but no luck. I believe I'm pushing it in the correct direction but I've tried others just to be sure. My question is there a trick to sliding the computer off the mounting bracket? I've even taken it off the bike altogether to try and get a better grip on it but to no avail.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

It just takes a little more pressure than you might expect. Follow the manual; use the grip it recommends. Make sure you're applying force in the right direction. You should be able to push it right off of the mount.

Don't be afraid to push hard. It may be a little tighter since its new.

Thanks for your suggestions; I finally got it to snap off. You're right; it is very tight so hopefully I won't have to remove it again any time soon.
