Question for you 705 pros
I have a ride on my 705 that doesn't upload to the activities on Garmin Connect.
In the History File on the unit is reads differently than the other files as well. Where my other rides show "Mar23 10:30am 1" this one shows "Mar21 03/20/2010 R".
When I look at the file on the unit (through my computer) it shows up as a .crs rather than .tcx like the other files. I have tried to convert it (GPSies), to manually upload it etc., with no luck. Any ideas?

The 705 does not create CRS files. It only creates TCX files. Is there a chance you placed a course CRS file in the history folder by accident?

Anything is possible. But the ride itself doesn't show up in the history. I know I did it, and pushed stop and start on it. It shows in the history on the device with that different notation, but I can't get it into a history download into any of the tracking programs.

Did you reset it prior to the ride you are looking for. If not it will be combined with the previous ride you did.

Hmm, tried to open it using TC and MapSource neither of them would touch it.
Is your Edge running the latest firmware? There were some bugs in earlier firmwares that on occasion would cause corrupt history files. I am wondering if that is what happened to this one.
