place for taillight

I recently purchased 2 fenix PD20 and the headlight is great but I'm unable to find a proper place for the taillight.
Here is a picture for the best place I could find along the seat post but time to time I still hit it with my right inner thigh. I cannot put it under the saddle because I have a bag there.
I'm looking for a mount that would hold the light behind the seat post and not on it or underneath it. Dinotte has one of those for their taillights but it is not sold separately. Any ideas guys?

Looks like you could get it a little higher and farther back if you changed the position of your seatclamp lever and moved the light up. That might give you more thigh clearance w/o a more expensive adaptation.

The higher I move the light on the seatpost the more I hit it. I tried all the positions starting under the seat (below the saddlebag) all the way down to the seatclamp. I'm still looking for a mount.

Is your bag a clamp-mount, or does it use straps? If straps, you may be able to put the light on top of the bag before tightening the straps.
