Polar ProTrainer5 rip off!

I have a polar s720i. The polar precision software v4 is not compatible with windows 7. The Polar ProTrainer 5 software is $78! Anyone know where to get it for cheaper? Or, has anyone had success complaining to polar about this?

There should be an upgrade price, $80 is a bit steep...

Polar Precision 4.03 is working fine for me with Windows 7, via Parallels 6 on a Mac. Be sure to update to 4.03. The updater file is on the polar web page, though hard to find.

I can get the data ok but whenever I try to change the exercises or watch settings, the app crashes. Are those all working for you?

Oh, you're right. Changing watch settings is a consistent crash. Well, the advantage of Parallels is that I also have an XP virtual machine where the polar software works without crashing

Yah, it's all good. Most of the settings can be changed using the watch. I'll try the sonic link and see if it helps. Everything works on pro trainer5.

I'll call polar and see what they say about maybe getting a discount.
