Vistalight nightstick charger
Vistalight Nightstick charger
I have a Vistalight Nightstick Code 15 (NiMH 2200mAH) but have lost the charger. Does anyone know where I can find one? I have deduced that the battery takes a 7.5 amp charge. It needs a 600 mah charger. If I can't get hold of the correct charger, I do have an AC charger adapter, but need to know what polarity (+ or -) the nightstick is. If anyone has this information, I'll be set. Thanks.

If I can find my old charger I'll let you know. Shame Vistalight/Bell didn't carry this product through, I got a lot of light with my setup.

Thanks very much for this info. I am managing to charge the Vistalight stick with the charger (not a vistalight one) I have, and the charge is holding. I'd still like to get hold of a proper istalight one. Is the one you have for sale? If so, how much, and how do I get hold of you? (This is the first time I have used a bike forum). Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can use a different charger, the main thing is that the charger outputs the correct voltage (7.2V) and with at least 600mA of current. The current draw is related to the resistance of the battery and the voltage, so a higher current rating for the charger won't be a problem. If it's less than 600mA, that's when you run into problems.
