Lumotec Lyt Experience Yet?

Anyone tried this dynamo light yet? The price looks very attractive from Peter White Cycles and per the B&M web site the beam shape sounds like it has the close in illumination characteristics of the B&M IQ Cyo R version, just not quite as bright.

No beam photos on the B&M site nor yet on the Peter White Cycles site either.

There's also a "Plus" version (has a standlight): http://harriscyclery.net/product/bus...light-3200.htm Not in stock at the moment, but a standlight would probably be worth the modest price increase.

If I get it I will get the top end version, the Senso Plus with standlight and auto on sensor. No difference in beam pattern and brightness which are what I am interested in hearing about.

I have the Lyt Plus, I had bought it with a Dlumotech Oval Plus. The Lyt is quite a looker but looks can be deceptive; they're bright & it's standlight is amazing, but it's light beam on the road is like a 'Bright Box' of light, for commutes I guess it'll do the job or if used as a secondary light for lighting the road near the bike but I don't think it's made for fast rides. Since I bought it for brevets it's now only lying in a box since the Oval Plus does the job flawlessly, it may not be as bright as the Lyt but has a far more useful beam & I've easily ridden at 40kmph with them in sheer darkness of country roads; and I've seen their price fall from $76 to $30 at Peterwhite. I'll say if they still have the Dlumotech Oval I can assure that you wont regret.

I have the Lumotec IQ Fly N Plus (LED with standlight) that I bought 2 years ago and a Lumotec Oval Plus (halogen with LED standlight) - the IQ Fly blows the Oval Plus out of the darkness.
It's like the finicky sidewall generator that need frequent adjustment and replacement rollers that I replaced with a Shimano 3N71 generator hub - I just won't go back.
