Is there an App. for the HTC Droid similar to the Garmin Edge?
I have mounted my Droid to my stem and would like to use it as a training tool on my rides. I also dont want to spend the money on a Garmin if my phone will do the same thing. Thanks for the Help

Personally I would never mount my phone to my bike, too much vibration, but it's your choice.. I keep my evo in a neoprene sleeve in my back pocket and use it will the Cardiotrainer app.. Many also use Mytracks which can be uploaded to many websites so you can see info..
I like the Cardiotrainer because it estimates Calories burned and has start/pause when you are not moving.. The GPS apps do burn a lot of battery life, so make sure you are fully charged before a long ride..

GPS isn't that bad on your battery. Leaving a smartphone's screen on continuously will kill it, though. What features of the Garmin Edge are you trying to copy?

I have a Sprint Evo and I use My Tracks, but I turn off the phone's wi-fi, the 4G and the screen (to save the battery) and put it in my rr pocket and only review the data once the ride is over.
I am interested in what other similar Android programs others are using. I am too lazy to try them all out myself.
