I need a cyclcomputer that logs data?

Hi,

I'm looking for a cyclecomputer that keeps a memory log of the data or at least of velocity. I'd need it to be one that records kind of every second or so at least over a short period of time. I basically need to be able to check the velocity and acceleration in the first twenty seconds from starting and from going to braking? Any recommendations. The cheaper the better.

Thanks

The Sigma Rox 9.0 records every 5 seconds. Downloads to a PC to a .csv and/or their proprietary file format. Sigma has the manual on line.

Do you have a smartphone of any kind? There are fantastic Android and iPhone apps out there.

Features at the cheap end are reserved to hold out for more money,

Top of the price point there are more choices and features.. .. $100+..

Get a Garmin Forerunner, great trouble free unit, downloadable, can use it for running, hiking, or cycling. Wrist mount or bar mount. A word on the bar mount. Its not the best mount and will come off in the event you jar it hard. A strong elastic band will help it stay in place. I have had one for years and no trouble and they are not expensive for what you get.

Is this for bike riding or some kind of physics experiment?
