New phone case

I recently upgraded my phone to gain web access, but now I have no bike cases for it. Can anyone tell me of a source for a case that mounts on the stem or bars? The phone is a Droid X. Thanks.

Mounting a phone on your bars is hard on a phone, the vibration could cause you some problems. I have an EVO and put it in my jersey pocket and use a neoprene sleeve / camera case to help protect it from sweat and the elements. I use Cardiotrainer app and it records all my data just fine, even being in my jersey pocket. Mytracks app also works well at recording your data and is easy to upload to many websites to see your info from your rides..

Topeak makes a few nice cases for phones and PDAs. They have a neat mounting system that attaches to stems or bars and has a belt clip for off the bike use. I don't know which would be large enough for your phone, but the flap has a large piece of velcro which allows for some adjustment.

I used one for a few weeks that I bought at a LBS. Then my wife confiscated it.

Another option is one of those triathlon bags that attach to the top tube and stem with velcro straps.
