Yes, those are both MagicShine lights, probably identical. One is just lying more than the other. Actual light output has been measured around 500 lumens. 600 lumens is not a crazy thing to claim. 900 is just typical BS.
SpokeGrenade is a brand new Amazon vendor with no history, though Amazon would protect you a bit.
Here it is from GeoManGear. They are an outstanding place to get stuff from, they ship fast, they WILL help you if you have a problem up to and including shipping replacements for broken glass/etc. They are also AFAIK
the ONLY vendor that actually replaced defective MagicShine batteries OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET when the early batteries had problems.
For $90, including one of their redesigned battery packs, I don't think you can beat this.
One caveat with that light; the wire leading into the connector tends to fray. I have replaced my Y connector (I also have a MagicShine taillight) 3 times now, which I don't mind too much since they're $3 from DealExtreme.
