Troubleshooting for a Sigma Sport BC 1200

I've got a Sigma Sport BC 1200 wireless bike computer. On a recent trip, the computer stopped recording speed and distance. I checked all batteries, but replacing them with fresh batteries did not alleviate the problem.

I also did everything possible to adjust the magnet position and clean the sensors, but none of the efforts helped either.

There are two small sensor points on the back of the computer unit. If I connect a wire or piece of metal between these two sensor points and jiggle it, the computer unit becomes active.

I'm wondering if replacing the two pieces of the wireless data transmission unit, the computer would function again, or is the problem something more involved.

Hi there

I've got the same problem and did same checks but still not working. Did you ever solve the problem?
