Here is a pic of my new tail light setup. I have been wanting to add another tail light to my bike and decided to get a Magicshine tail light from Geomangear. I already had 2 PB superflash lights but felt like I needed more to make sure I would be seen during my day rides. The three light setup I chose seems to work, I went on a 23 mile ride Thursday and I got a lot of riding space when getting passed, the semi's would even slow down til they could move over into the next lane which never happened before. I only had a few cars come close but still nothing like before, even when taking off from a stop light was a big change.

Yeah once I got my Magicshine Taillight, I haven't had any issues with buzzing. Love the thing, and getting another for my second bike this week! The stock battery lasts forever with it on flashing as well.

Somehow I don't think that the light is preventing people from passing you closely. Those who do will probably still do so if you had runway lights attached to your bike.

there will be those that will still crowd you, but most drivers fall under the saying " monkey see, monkey do", where if the first car sees you and moves over to avoid you or something in the road ahead then the drivers behind the first will tend do the same or will be more cautious just to avoid possible damage to their vehicle.

Can you provide some info on the vertical bar on the rear of the rack that you're using for mounting?

Also, be aware that the MS taillight is prone to failure. The power wires as they are soldered into the circular PC board have no strain relief and are fairly small gauge. As you turn the ring, the inner portion of the light is not "supposed" to turn, but often it will move slightly because of the stiffness of the chrome ring. The internal power wires can, over time, break off at the PC board from repeated "tugging," and if you're unlucky like me, it'll be the positive wire, which can short out to the case and destroy the battery (depending on who's battery you're using). Anyway, just a heads up that if you like the particular mode that you have it in, you might be better off just connecting and disconnecting the battery to turn it on/off, or just be extremely careful when turning the ring that the inner portion (clear lens) is not also turning/moving.

I used half of one of these light mounts https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-360-Bike...item1e69c24405 that I found laying around and bolted it to my rack then I clamped a small flash light to it and then my MS tail light to the flash light, it works great and when I ride at night I have the flash light shining downward. Here is a picture of how I mounted the light.

I turn off the light by unpluging the cord since i leave it on flashing

Just got a trial set up mounted for my rear lights. A pair of TechLite Lumen Master 200's (AAA's)... and a couple of mini refelctors glued in to make them red. I had the flash mode on for a 5 hour ride last week end and they were still 'see able' at the end. Looking for the best rechargeable battery/charger set-up for them. I also have 2 in front with amber reflectors on them as see-me flashers.
