cheap bike computer v. my tracks on phone

Which of these is more accurate? It may sound stupid but I'm not sure.
Reason I ask is because, my bike computer told me I averaged just over 5 mph. At the same time my tracks said it was over 13 mph.

5mph is god awfully slow so 13mph is probably closer.

Your bike computer is likely not adjusted properly (proximity of sensors) and/or the wheel circumference is not correct.

Or you can adjust the bike computer by inputing the correct size wheels/tires and adjusting the magnet. Then you will have both and you can open my tracks and toss it in a bag or whatever.

I use my bike computer and my tracks(phone in camelpack).

I recently started using my phone with mapmyride.com app with my old cateye which all really use it for now is cadence and realtime speed. I relly on the gps for distance as that function no longer works on my computer. they make a really good pair that I wouldnt trade for a Garmin.
