strada cateye wireless interchangeability?

So, somewhere between my house and the shipping center where my mailbox is my CatEye Strada Wireless cyclocomputer abandoned ship. I retraced my route, but given that the rhodies are shedding their petals right now my chances of spotting a small white rectangular thing in the middle of all those small white rectangular things was slim to none. In the highly likely event that my CatEye is gone forever, can I get a new one and just swap in the computer? Will the magnet/transmitter work with it? Or will I have to reinstall the whole kit 'n caboodle?

At first I thought you had poor spelling skills and meant the "roadies are shedding their pedals." Which confused me.

Well, no one has answered you so I will guess. Since you can use the Cateye on more than one bike and you can buy the speed sensor separately for a second bike, I don't see why the one on your bike wouldn't work with a replacement computer.

I suggest you call Cateye and ask them. IIRC, the Strada wireless is not coded, so a replacement should work fine.
