I have use a Monoura SwingGrip to hold my lights and like it very much. Dont get the SpaceGrip confused with the SwingGrip, the latter allows about 45 degrees of adjustments for the arm that holds your Stuff. They can be a royal PITA to initially attach but can be left there forever - the arm containing the Stuff can be unscrewed leaving the base attached as needed. They will mount just about anywhere, I have mine attached to the stem which keeps the lights out of sight under a handlebar bag. Some things might slip around on the aluminum arm - just tape a piece of old inner tube to it to solve that.
They are quite durable: I have had one on 2 bikes for about 5 years and replaced one once.
There is at least one more type which Seve did not list, but I cannot recall who makes it....Colleen C has one or reviewed one once, but that one was not infinitely adjustable like the SwingGrip, IIRC.
